Wagon rides and Laundry

Its the first REALLY cold day of the year. we actually had flurries today.  Despite the cold, I think it's good for you to get some fresh air.  We headed outside all bundled up for a little wagon ride.  

Then it was back inside for some snacks and laundry.  You have always been so helpful with folding laundry!  Yes...even mommies undies.

Christmas Eve surprise visitors

You got to practice for Christmas a little early.  Your cousin Jessie and his Fiance came by with a bunch of presents for you!  It didn't take long for you to get the hang of ripping open packages. 

 This little drum set became a favorite if yours.  You played with this a lot.

My big boy chair!

Thank you Mrs. Kristin for my big boy chair.  Kristin is the photographer that took the pictures of Mommy and Daddy when we were pregnant with you and your adorable newborn photos.  She has a son named Aiden as well.  And guess what?  He was 9 lbs 8 oz when he was born too!  So she gave us this special chair that was her sons and has your name on it.

There was a lovely holiday party held at the Bells house.  We were all surprised when there was a knock at the door and guess who was there!?  SANTA!!  He came with gifts for all the kids as well as a few for you!  Since you had already been around a few strange characters at fair, Santa didn't seem to scare you much.  You even took a few tugs at his beard ;-)!

This is a special picture.  This was taken the weekend of our 2 year wedding anniversary.  It was this Fair Saturday 2 years ago that your father and I got married at the Renaissance Fair at the chapel.  Now you have joined our family.

Your first trip to Gettysburg

Daddy decided to take a day off work to take you and mommy to Gettysburg for the day.  This was my first time there as well.  The weather was great for an October afternoon.  We enjoyed lunch at a nice little Irish restaurant and walked several of the battlefields and downtown.

P.S.  You cried the whole way home!  Yup all 1 and a half hours!  You for some reason HATE the car.
