Spatula Guitar

Clearly Aiden you have daddys musical talents.  You are always stomping around the house holding something pretending it is a guitar.  Most of the time it is a spoon or spatula.  You have also used your favorite puppy dog as bagpipes and buckets often turn into drums.  I am glad we have these photos in case you become a rockstar.  It will be great to say you got your start playing the spatula!

Wee Socks

I have discovered the socks that you get at the store just do not keep your feet warm.  So here is your first pair of knitted wool socks.  As fast as you are growing I will need to make several pair to get you through the winter!
Aiden as usual you are wanting to play with your sister already.  Patience bud,  she will be big enough to play with soon enough!
Oh...and a popsicle mold COULD be bagpipes :-)!

Dragons!

Last day of fair!  Mommy was mean and made you wear your dragon costume.  You were less than happy about this as you can see.  But you looked awesome!

She needs a hat!

Aiden I love how you are already wanting to spend time with Paisley.  You are being such a good big brother!  You decided she needed a hat today!

All smiles

Paisley you are finally settleing into a happy place.  Until now you have not been a fan of anything but being sniggled and slreping.  You are finally soending a bit of time just hanging out and takin it all in.  I am loving the big smiles that come with that!
Just hanging in the studio as mommy works on a quilt.  Not that I can get much work done with that cute little face!

Portraits of Paisley 3 weeks old

I wanted to do all the cutesy pics of you sleeping but you are just not a sound sleeper.  So I did the best I could while you were awake before you got mad :-).

This is the Quilt I made you.  I sincerely hope it is still around when you read this.  This was my first more complicated quilt project and I was very proud of it.  I hope you grow to love it for years to come and maybe one day pass it onto your daughter.

Trees for the little Lutes

Today we planted two Dogwood trees, one for each of you.  Paisley, yours is the one closest to the dinning room since that was where you were born.  Yours was also planted on top of your placenta.  Unfortunatly, Aiden we buried yours at the old house.  But we wanted you to have a tree at the new house as well.  It is going to be great watching them grow as you guys grow.
