Just an average day

What a fun day!  Today started with Toddler Time at the library.  They read books and sing songs, its a lot of fun.  Then Aiden helped mommy water the plants outside.  Then off to the grocery store!  This was Paisleys first time in the racing cart!  She was driving like a mad woman! 

Milkshakes for accomplishments!

Today just Aiden and I went out for milkshakes to celebrate a big accomplishment for you! Earlier this week you pooped in the potty.  I promised you if you did that I would take you out for ice cream.  Potty training has been hard with you so I hope that maybe some rewards mow and then help :-) 

Big truck day!

Today was Big Truck Day at the Odenton Library.  The Dept of Public works was there with a bunch of work trucks for the kids to see!  You love trucks so much I knew we had to go and see them.  You had a blast climbing on the trucks and sitting in the driver seats.

Paisley you were there too but not as impressed :-). Maybe next year!

My natural water baby!

So its no surprise that you love the water Paisley!  You were born in the water and like mommy you love the water!  This was your first time in the pool and you loved it.  You had so much fun you passed out on Nana.  

Mommies Big Helper!

Aiden, you asked me if you could feed the baby last night.  I said sure.  You did such a good job feeding Paisley!  You were even opening your mouth to show her what to do.  I am so proud of you as a big brother.  You are generally very good with your little sister.  She is lucky to have a big brother like you!

Paint like mommy!

So last night I went and did my very first ever paint night! For someone who is never painted before, I think I did a pretty good job! On top of it I had so much fun. This morning when you got up Aiden I showed you the painting I had done.  You immediately wanted to get out your paint and do a painting as well. This is your first time with the watercolors and you did a really good job!

Memorial Day Parade!

Today is Memorial Day, Aiden you love fire trucks so much so we made sure to take you up to see the trucks.  There were trucks from all over MD there.  You were so good about waiving to all the trucks as they went by.

Morning cuddles

Some mornings everyone needs cuddles.  And I am more than happy to give them!  Today was cuddles while watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

Mickey has their full attention.  I guess it could be worse at least they like Mickey :-).

Look who's a big girl now!

Today was Paisley six month check up. She did such a good job. She is very tall in the 94th percentile in height. She was such a good girl for the two shot she got today. After her appointment we took Aiden up for a much needed haircut. You were such a good boy. So good, you got a car as a prize. 

After some lunch at Chick-fil-A because both of you were being so good, I took Paisley to get her ears pierced.  I wanted to get them done while you were young so I could take care of them and they would heal for you. I did not tell daddy that I was taking you up I wanted to surprise him.  You did so good! You cried for a couple seconds, but as soon as I picked you up you found your thumb and you were all smiles. I'm so proud of you!  

Afterwards, we went and surprise daddy to show him Aiden's new haircut and Paisley's earrings. He was so surprised and excited he was crying. He could not stop saying how beautiful you look with your ears pierced.

How am I supposed to work with this?

So I have a small business online making Knitting needle cases.  I try to get work done on a somewhat regular basis.  But most days I spend in the studio are not productive at all.  Between Aiden wanting to pkay and Paisley with either wanting attention or just being too cute!  I do my best but am often too distracted by the cuteness!

Playtime

I love how Aiden wants to play with you Paisley.  Now that Aiden is starting to talk he is telling us "baby here" and pointing to where he wants to play.  Most of the time you are so good with her.  There have been a few times you play a little too rough but for the most part you are great with her!
